Linseeds are also known as flaxseeds – they are slightly larger than sesame seeds and have a hard shiny, smooth shell. They are a good source of polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats. Contain omega 3 (linolenic acid) and omega 6 (linoleic acid) both essential to human health.
